Everybody loves to travel! Here are my top ten places you should
visit around the world.
1.
Machu
Picchu
Now
one of the Seven Wonders of the World Machu Picchu is an amazing site to see. A
15th century Inca site located just less than 2500 meters above sea
level in Peru. It has stunning views but
is nearly inaccessible with a long journey time to reach it but I promise you
it will be worth the effort! Machu Picchu has a sense of mystery about it and
is commonly referred to "Lost City of
the Incas".
2.
The Golden Gate Bridge
Spanning 8,981 ft
across the opening of San Francisco bay the Golden Gate Bridge is a marvellous
sight. possibly the most photographed bridge in the world. Before the bridge
was built the only way across the bay was by boat.
3.
The Pyramids
Built as tombs for
the country’s royalty out of stone and by hand. There are currently 138
pyramids in Egypt but the most famous of them all are the pyramids of Giza.
Amazingly these pyramids are near perfectly built without any modern tools as they
were not invented back then. Definitely
worth a visit if you want your mind blown!
4.
The Amazon Rainforest
A huge space or
wonder is the only way i can describe this place. Most people just think trees
and rain but there is so much more to this place. It has a ton of wildlife,
plants (which have helped with medicine and treatments) and provides 20% of the
worlds oxygen supply.
5.
The Great
Wall of China
Roughly
built from east to west the purpose of this wall was to defend the Chinese
empire. It’s an amazing walk and the location and scenery is just as great as
the wall. It looks like it never ends!
6.
Eiffel
Tower
Located
in Paris, France the tower stands tall at 325 meters and is the tallest
structure in Paris. At the top it has spectacular views and you can see for
miles. For a small charge you can also climb to the top... don’t look down
though!
7.
Buckingham
Palace
Home
of the queen! This beautiful building located in the City of Westminster stand
proud. With it’s guards on the outside with no sign of emotion with a duty to
protect the queen. One of the top attractions in the UK.
8.
Leaning
Tower of Pisa
The
free standing bell tower of the cathedral. The lean on this thing is amazing.
How it doesn’t just fall and topple over is outstanding but it wasn’t meant to
be this way. The lean is due to poor construction.
9.
The
Ghan Railway
Amazing
experience as you cross the country of Australia from north to south over 3
day. You travel in class and have a luxury experience. The train runs right through
the middle of Australia so you get to see something of a rare sight.
10.
The
Statue of Liberty
Celebrating
Americas independence and freedom. This statue is a man made marvel that is
bound to make you get your camera out! This was a gift to the United States
from the people of france. The statue shows freedom and is an icon of the
united states.
There is more to see in this world then the ten i have listed. Why not do some research and see what you find? You never know you might just find your next break away!
